1. Nature of the Service
West New York Residents Directory is privately operated. It describes and links to public record indexes, local resources, and historical collections connected with West New York, New Jersey. It does not host government records and is not affiliated with a government office, court, library, or custodian.
2. Permitted Use
Use the service lawfully and responsibly. You may not use it or information reached through it to:
- Stalk, harass, threaten, intimidate, or harm another person.
- Locate a person protected by a restraining or protective order.
- Commit fraud, identity theft, or another unlawful act.
- Make a decision covered by the Fair Credit Reporting Act.
- Scrape, systematically copy, or republish site content at scale.
- Interfere with service operation, security, or other users.
3. Not a Consumer Reporting Agency
This service is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, 15 U.S.C. § 1681 et seq. Nothing on it or obtained through a linked search tool is a consumer report, and it may not be used for credit, employment, housing, insurance, or another FCRA-regulated purpose.
4. Third-Party Resources
Government portals and outside services, including sponsored search tools, operate under their own terms and policies. We do not control their availability, charges, content, or data practices.
5. No Warranty
The service is offered as available and without warranties. We do not promise that content is complete, accurate, current, uninterrupted, or suitable for a particular purpose, nor that an external portal will return a result.
6. Liability Limits
To the fullest extent allowed by law, the operators are not liable for direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or other damages arising from use of this service or a linked source.
7. Indemnification
You agree to defend and hold the operators harmless from a claim, demand, or reasonable attorney fee arising from your misuse of the service or breach of these terms.

Original text, design, logo, and layout are protected by copyright. Linking and brief attributed quotation are allowed; wholesale republication or systematic copying is not.
9. Term Changes
We may revise these terms by posting an updated version here. Continued use after posting accepts the revised terms.

We may suspend or restrict access for conduct that violates these terms or abuses the service, with or without notice.
11. New Jersey Law
New Jersey law governs these terms without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Public-record requests to state and local executive agencies are governed by the New Jersey Open Public Records Act, N.J.S.A. 47:1A-1 to -13; court files follow the Judiciary’s separate access rules.
12. Severability
If one provision is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect.
